I'm a Lazy Girl

It's not a secret I need to shed a few kilo's but I am happy with my body and who I am. I'm big of the self love but at the end of the day - everyone wants to change something about themselves. So I may be "big and beautiful" but I know I am not healthy. So it's not so much the loosing weight thing than getting healthy.

But I am lazy.

Very Lazy.

And I think I may have found the perfect book for me! I went to the shops last night and ended up in the book section (was planning on getting the other boleyn girl. I have this thing about reading the book before seeing the movie) and the bright pink cover with the cupcake on the front caught my attention. It was almost like one of those heavenly moments where the light shines down on something and you can hear the angels singing and the harp and someone yelling out Halleluah!! Lazy girls guide... I dont really need to say more do I? Well I scoffed down the first chapter and the intro prelude thing and then I realised it was 11 and had to go to bed (shouldnt have started reading it after 10pm)

All I can say like 1000's of others who read her first couple of books (which I would like to get hold of) I swear she is writing about me hey. I have a good feeling about this.

Then again I had a good feeling about that budget book I brought and I have no idea where that even is anymore!

Confessions of a shopaholic...

1. I shop WAY TO MUCH online when I am bored, especially at work. But I can totally recommend all the places in the where I shop box ha ha!!

The Thursday that felt like a Friday

Well its finally Thursday, and so with Friday being 'Good Friday' Thursday has turned into the longest Friday ever. It is just gone 3 - 2 hours left then hello 4 day weekend, chocolate, hot cross buns, sleeping in and doing nothingness.

Though I should really clean out spare room.........

Charming really....

I have decided on one thing. I like Pandora charm bracelets as previously mentioned but I have also decided I am abit of an old fashioned girl and old school style charm bracelet is what I am really after.

Thomas Sabo has some wonderful charms out there and so it's now on my definetly on my to do shopping list.

*yaaaaawn* yay almost lunch.

It's all about the Party

Ok so I have my heart kinda set on a venue but I have to check up on a couple things, like tables/chairs and audio equiptment available etc... so with that almost taken care of I have thrown my efforts into "theme".

1. Mum came up with this for the invitations, "come as you like as long as its black and white". Not sure about the come as you like part but if I think in the dress part I will specify abit more.

2. So its going to be black and white. Decorations, cake, (was hoping to do food as well but kinda hard....) dress code and yeah.

3. Thing is I will be wearing... Red (well atm i'm planning on red) so I will stand out lovely and be the center of attention all different to everything else haha. It's my birthday so sue me!!

So yeah.... I am also planning a candy buffet on the desert table to go next to the cake. Will post more about that later....

Pandora can keep the box - I want her bracelet!

For ages I have been admiring the jewellery range that is 'Pandora'. Incase you have no idea what I am talking about click 'pandora' or look at the bracelet below.

Its a style of charm bracelet, kinda similiar to Italian Charm Bracelets but personally I think better! So anyways, for ages I have been admiring them but now I have decided I want one. Yes another want haha. I like em, i think the mix and match personalized style you can create with it is funky and yeah. Only prob is they're kinda expensive. I premade one can cost thousands and so usually you buy a couple of charms when you buy the bracelet ($200+ right there) with bracelets, traditional silver Pandora style starting at $75. Not so bad hey, but then each charm can cost from $20+ depending on what it is and made of. I wouldn't mind getting one and adding to it for each thing that happens to me. Already I would like the charms below and then as i get older and do things like get married and have babies and have my first trip to paris hehe - i can just add to it.

- It's a handbag. Do i need to explain?

- To represent me being all grown up and buying my first home.

And of course it will be pink themed hehe so now all I gotta do is get a bracelet in my size (dam big wrists and dam people not having the right size in stock) and start collecting. Oh and did mention find the $$ for it haha.

Theme it.

So since I have been having soo much fun at work today, I have been thinking about themes.

Originally I was going for “come as your fav movie character” and had most things planned out from a red carpet entrance, decorations etc but kinda over that now. But I have got a bunch of new ideas. I guess the theme is really dependant on where I end up having it. So here are the new things I’ve come up with for starters so see how it goes….

1. Come as favorite movie character.

2. Colour Theme – I’m thinking RED!!

3. When I grow up I want to be….

4. Alter Ego (for all super hero’s and Paris Hilton wannabe’s haha)

5. Glamorous aka Glitz and Glam. Think feather boas, tiaras, glitter… might be a little hard for some guys hm….

So yeah that’s the theme list for now. You could have a lot of fun with all them but like I said before depends on the venue. Besides there will always be other parties! I’m really going to number 3 but then again we might get a room full of firemen and princesses! Colour themes are always a classic and with Red it’s a bit different to the usual, Black, White or Pink.

Just some more food for my thoughts.

Talking of food… almost lunch time Woohoo!!

Hm...

I saw this quiz on Melzy's blog and thought yeah i'd do it.

But now I'm kinda aggitated... I know I am fabulous and like everyone else, can have moments of being abit selfobsessivness - but this quiz should perhaps get a name change to "how much do you care about your appearance" I dont see how taking the effort to use moisturizer, mascara, wear lipstick and a hair straightener makes you selfobsessed. I just like to look kinda nice. Self obsessed to me isnt about wearing makeup or doing something with your hair and nails. It's really about people who think of nothing but themselves, selfish and yeah.

But its just a quiz and not fussed about the thing, but i think the title should be different

Where to go?

So I am now thinking all the places and different ways I can have my 21st

1. Hire out a hall/community center
2. A function room either in a nightclub, hotel etc.
3. Not have a big party but have dinner out somewhere nice with close friends and family.

I have made a excel sheet with all the places I have thought up so far and now just have to phone up and compare prices, find out about the different catering/bar prices, if you can decorate it or something. So once my sheet is filled out I can then sit down and see what I am going to be able to afford, where I’d like to go and if I am still going to be having a split party with my mate Troy.

Hm.... Well at least i've started this much!!
